The young women and men of the Corp work hard protecting and restoring California's environment and responding to disasters, beoming stronger workers, citizens and individuals through their service.

There are 80 Corps members on five crews in three different communities.  Crews in Salinas, San Jose and Watsonville provide resource conservation work such as trail construction, wetland habitat restoration and fire hazard fuel reduction.  A fifth crew rpovides weatherization improvements for low-income residents in several cities.

Volunteers will help mentor/tutor corpsmembers, including helping them with resumes, school work, career research and applications and more. They will assistant teach with education coordinator or Jon Muir Charter school teacher.
